How we met!
We both were living in Chelmsford, MA raising our families. One lucky day our paths crossed, and a conversation started. Instantly our families connected, and a friendship blossomed! We were doing everything together, and enjoying every bit of it, that it only seemed natural to form a business partnership. The conversation hasn’t stopped!
How it started
Jan founded Perfectly Placed for You Staging and Redesign, LLC in 2007. Since then, Liz and Jan have had the privilege of helping thousands of homeowners throughout the region profit by transforming homes with their special brand of staging magic.
Whether the project is a vacant or occupied home, Perfectly Placed For You creates fresh spaces that speak to today’s buyer. With access to a full warehouse of current furnishings, the process is easy, painless, and cost-effective.
Their work has been featured on HGTV’s My Lottery Dream Home and they are the recipients of the HOUZZ Service Award 2014 through 2019.

Liz artfully organizes staging projects into clear and manageable steps for each client resulting in a property that makes an outstanding first impression that consistently exceeds client expectations.
Her work has been described as, “top notch." Sellers are always amazed when they see the final product. “As soon as I saw how the house looked with the furniture and decor in place, I knew we had made the right choice. And you can’t argue with the results! Worth the investment!”
Passionate about giving back, Liz is on the Board for Habitat for Humanity, Lowell, MA and also participates in their annual Woman’s Build event giving her both time and “muscle.” An Ambassador to Catie’s Closet, each year she coordinates a local clothing and toiletry drive for underprivileged youth.

Jan Poulain is an award-winning home stager serving Greater Boston and Southern NH. Realtor clients appreciate her commitment to a team approach and attention to detail as she conducts her initial staging consultation. “It’s a pleasure having Jan on our team. As a female business entrepreneur, she sits on the Board of the Merrimack Valley Conference for Women powered by She’s Local, with a goal to support, connect, and inspire woman close to home!
Jan’s favorite part of working her dream job is being able to work with Co-Owner Liz Larson. Together, they embrace a spirit of joy and fun that has become part of their mission statement and ultimately their client experience.
Lynn Whalen
Color Consultant: Using her skills to simplify the art of choosing the perfect color palette not only unifies each space, but effortlessly pulls buyers through the property.
Favorite Staging Prop: Art
Lynn loves the whole process; from picking out furnishings, developing color stories and vignettes, shopping for the perfect piece to complement a space, install day and seeing the listing go live. It’s extra rewarding when the project attracts multiple offers and sells over asking. When not working she likes to travel, spend time with family, friends and her two Labs.
Karen Sidari
Master Bedroom Stylist: We call Karen’s art of laying throws, blankets and pillows Instagram worthy and perfectly styled…as well as dreamy.
Favorite Staging Prop: Pots of Grass
Karen’s love of design and home staging runs deep. As a certified home stager and colorist she brings her past experience in merchandising and as a retail buyer to work for the client. Coordinating color, furnishings and accessories create a welcoming and attractive look. She loves yoga, painting, and the beaches of Maine.
